Holds over 16 years experience within the childcare field and holds NVQ Level 5 in Childcare, Development & Management. Sarah also holds NVQ Level 4 in Bilingualism within Early Years Education graduating from Saint Trinity University.


All business and fee calculations are dealt with by Sarah who has a vast knowledge of tax credits and the assisted places scheme. She also holds certificates in Food & Health Guidelines, Cross Infection Procedures, advanced level Child Protection, Dental Health Education, Promoting Equality & Diversity along with various other certificates. Sarah is the designated data handler ensuring information held on the children is kept confidential in line with the data protection Act.

Job Title: Nursery Operations Manger

Leigh-Ann has a genuine passion, drive and enthusiasm for Early Years education and coordinates all topic planning, curriculum, activity planning, lesson planning and developmental assessments for the nursery children. Leigh-Ann has an extensive amount of knowledge and experience in working in partnership with the Local Education Authority to execute the necessary play experiences to young children to achieve fundamental skills in preparation to main stream school education.


Leigh-Ann is the Special Educational Needs Co-ordinater (SENCO) of the setting after completing a one year foundation degree at Bridgend College within this area. Leading on from this training Leigh-Ann has built professional working partnerships within the Access and Inclusion Services allowing the setting to work alongside many outside professionals such as educational psychologist's and speech and language therapist's. Leigh-Ann also holds a N.V.Q Level 5 within Child Care and management as well as 19 years experience within Child Care.


Leigh-Ann has also attended training in the Incredible Years programme to promote emotional and social competence in children with additional learning needs/challenging behaviors, WellComm (Language Development screening programme) and Elklan (Language Development strategies for children with delay and English as their additional language). She has full and comprehensive business insurance to transport children to and from school and additional nursery based outings. Leigh-Ann holds certificates in Food and Health Guidelines for Early Years Settings, Cross Infection Procedures, Dental Health Education, advanced Child Protection and various certificates prevalent to Child Care. Under employment law Leigh-Ann holds a First Aid at work Regs 1981 certificate allowing all team members and children to be treated should the need dictate. Leigh-Ann is also the Child Protection point of contact for the setting.
