Structured and purposeful play activities are planned within the nursery using 'Birth to Three Matters' and in line with the
Foundation Phase; adopting the methods of 'Continuous' and 'Enhanced' provision. The 'Foundation Phase' profile is a curriculum
based on first hand experiences and a holistic approach to learning. This is implemented within the pre-school play environment
to certify all essential skills are gained before the transition to main stream school takes place.
Carefully planned activities throughout the age groups enable us to meet all developmental areas including the social and
emotional needs, and well-being of younger children which provides the fundamental scaffolding for a positive aptitude to learning
in the future.
Our comprehensive key worker system enables consistent development tracking to ensure children are reaching their full
potentials, and seek early intervention if additional learning needs present themselves.
The setting has established relationships with outside professionals and is welcoming to the professionals using the setting
as a base for their own developmental assessment needs on children within our care should referrals be necessary.
